Brazil and China extend PPH agreement until 2029

This Monday, September 22, the BRPTO (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) and CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to extend the bilateral PPH agreement until 2029.

The MoU was signed during the 17^th Heads of BRICS Intellectual Property Offices Meeting, held in Rio de Janeiro on September 22 and 23. A proposal for bilateral cooperation on patents was also discussed at the meeting.
