The Call for Contributions proposes a new wording for Chapter 9 of the Examination Guidelines for Patent Applications in the Field of Chemistry (BRPTO’s Rule #208/2017), as previously reported in a Client Alert. The Office has confirmed that all other provisions set forth in the original Call, published on July 29, 2025, remain in effect.
