Ordinance CGREC #04/2024 provides guidelines and procedures for the technical examination of patent

applications at appeal level, standardizing the steps to “ensure the correct preparation of the technical

opinion at appeal level”.

The procedures are related to the Guidelines for Submitting Appeals and Post-Grant Oppositions

Procedures (Ordinance #10, of March 8, 2024), as well as Prosecutor’s Office Opinions #16/2023,

#19/2023, and #03/2024, and Rule #93, of June 10, 2013.
