PPH requests limit for IPC H04 reached at BRPTO

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, the BRPTO has reported that the quarterly limit of 140 PPH requests under the IPC H04 classification, made available for Q2 2025, has already been met. As a result, no new requests will be accepted until the end of this quarter.

Per BRPTO/DIRPA’s Ordinance #03/2025, effective April 1, 2025, the BRPTO will reassess the possibility of accepting new requests under IPC H04 classification for the next quarters of this year.

It is important to note that the quarterly limit for other IPC classifications has not yet been reached.

In line with BRPTO/DIRPA’s Ordinance #26/2024, the BRPTO will not accept requests submitted after the quarterly limit has been reached, including any amendments filed with said requests. For applications that have been rejected due to exceeding the quarterly limit, a new request may be submitted in the following quarter, provided they include the respective supporting documentation.
