Ana Luíza Fernandes Calil joined Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office as anattorney at law in 2019. Her practice has been focused in high specializedregulation disputes (judicial and administrative) and governmentcontracts. Prior to joining Licks Attorneys, Ana Luíza has gained experienceas an associate attorney at a prominent Brazilian law firm, advising andrepresenting large national companies in complex disputes regardingadministrative, regulatory and environmental law. Her expertise alsocomprises knowledge in energy and oil & gas, having worked in a boutiquelaw firm specialized in advising national and international companies withinvestments in Brazil.Ana Luíza is Professor of Administrative and Environmental Law atRio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ) and is an invited professor ofseveral courses. She holds a master’s degree in Public Law from the StateUniversity of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
