BRPTO publishes new ordinances on contract registration and recordation
This Tuesday, October 28, the BRPTO published two regulations in its Official Gazette #2860 concerning the registration and recordation of contracts in Brazil. Ordinance #34 establishes the administrative procedures for registration and recordation, while Ordinance #35 outlines examination guidelines.
The new provisions include analysis procedures which were already being applied by the BRPTO but were not formally stipulated in previous regulations. The initiative aims to increase transparency, reduce office actions, and provide greater speed and efficiency to processes.
The full text of the new regulations is available on the BRPTO website, and a copy can be accessed here.
