Fernanda Cohen

Attorney at Law

Fernanda Cohen is a senior attorney at Licks Attorney’s Rio de Janeiro office, having first started in September, 2016. She has ample experience with complex regulatory, civil, and intellectual property litigation involving techs, startups and innovative companies’ disputes before several Brazilian Courts as well as consumer protection authorities and State and Federal Prosecutors’ Offices.

Mrs. Cohen has worked on several lawsuits, unconstitutional lawsuits, and writs of mandamus regarding the legality and the acceptable extent of regulations related to innovative products and companies. She also has experience in consulting and risk analyses to support the launch of clients’ groundbreaking products. As a testament to her success, Mrs. Cohen has been called as guest lecturer in Graduate Courses at PUC-RIO University since 2017.
