Brazil and China extend PPH agreement until 2029
This Monday, September 22, the BRPTO (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) and CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to extend the bilateral PPH agreement until 2029.
The MoU was signed during the 17th Heads of BRICS Intellectual Property Offices Meeting, held in Rio de Janeiro on September 22 and 23. A proposal for bilateral cooperation on patents was also discussed at the meeting.
