Dr. Ana Lucia Pinheiro is a highly accomplished systems engineer and patent specialist with a wealth of knowledge and experience in intellectual property, wireless research and development, and 3GPP standards. She is a prolific inventor, named in over 100 granted patents. Her deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience, creativity, and leadership skills have made her a go-to expert in multiple radio and networks matters in the past several years.

Throughout her career, Dr. Pinheiro has held key roles at leading companies such as Samsung, Intel, Comcast, Mavenir, and Interdigital. She is currently contributing in all technical aspects of litigations at Licks Attorneys. From claim chart drafting to test plan preparation and test execution, Ana’s ingenuity and intuition guide her thinking process. Her deep knowledge and experience designing systems enables her to achieve excellent results for Licks Attorneys’ clients. With hands on experience working on product design and system architecture, she has built the skills necessary to work with multiple technical aspects of systems in this fast-changing industry.

Dr. Pinheiro holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio , an MBA from Hofstra University in NY, and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University in NJ.
