Isabella Benevides joined Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office as an Attorney at Law in 2020. After a brief period working with a Brazilian law firm specializing in Intellectual Property, where she represented major corporations in complex IP disputes involving patents, trademarks, and unfair competition, she returned to Licks Attorneys in 2024. During her time away, she also provided outside counsel in these areas, assisting in drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and agreements. Her practice at Licks Attorneys has been focused on strategic litigation and counseling in intellectual property, unfair competition, and regulatory compliance, particularly in the life sciences and information technology industries. Her background in International Law provides particular insight into cross-border disputes.
