Pedro Bacelar has been an attorney at law at Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office since 2024. Mr. Bacelar has a wide range practice in patent and regulatory Law, serving companies in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, agronomy, and telecommunications industry. He assists his clients in their day-to-day business operations and before courts proceedings.

In recent years, Mr. Bacelar has been deeply involved in disputes concerning patents in the field of agronomy, as well as discussions related to the possibility of a company being granted a patent term adjustment based in the delay of the BRPTO in granting the patent.

In the past, Mr. Bacelar was an intern and junior associate at Licks Attorney, where he worked in multiple projects regarding patents in the field of telecommunications.
