Alysson Araujo joined Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office as an intern in 2019 and became an attorney at law in 2020, where he worked in multiple patent projects in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications field. In 2022, he joined a major energy company’s legal department, working with strategic civil and contractual litigation, as well as innovation and process optimization. His practice mainly aimed for efficiency and other improvements in strategic decision-making, with the development of legal operations tools and strategic KPI’s.

Mr. Araujo returned to Licks Attorneys in 2025, focusing his his practice on intellectual property, assisting in complex litigation involving the pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries. He has experience working with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the development of regulations, and has worked on important patent cases before the Brazilian Supreme Court.
