Roberto Rangel is a Mechanical Engineer and Patent Specialist who joined Licks in 2019. His intellectual property experience encompasses drafting and prosecution of patent applications according to the Brazilian patent practice as well as the enforcement of patents after granting.

As an acting member of Licks Attorneys’ technical staff, Roberto focuses on assisting clients to prosecute and obtain patent rights in Brazil and abroad, analyzing Brazilian and foreign PTOs’ written opinions as well as third party submissions. In addition to providing technical assistance to our litigation group, he also carries out searches in general.
