Vanessa Aguiar joined Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office as a legal intern in 2016, working with regulatory cases. She became an attorney at law in 2022, focusing on Administrative Law and Intellectual Property. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Aguiar was a paralegal at a top-ranked Brazilian law firm, supporting strategic litigation for multinational clients. She currently works in close collaboration with the litigation teams, handling cases for the pharmaceutical industry; managing the lawsuit monitoring team in state and federal courts; directing proceedings before the Brazilian government agencies; and assisting with information security matters.
