Hon. Liliane Roriz was elected member of ABPI’s Board of Directors

Hon. Liliane Roriz, partner at Licks Attorneys and former Appellate Judge, was elected member of the Board of Directors of The Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI).

The election was held on September 28, 2015 and the approval of the candidates was unanimous.

The newly elected president and Board of Directors, including Hon. Liliane Roriz, will take office on December, 2015.

The Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) is a non-profit organization designed to promote the development of and study the various problems relating to intellectual property both from a theoretical and a pragmatic perspective.

ABPI members range from industrial property agents and their firms, attorneys at law, small and large companies, both private and public.

ABPI has had a very active role in the study of the continuous flow of questions raised by regional and international treaties regarding all aspects of intellectual property.
