In a recent judgement, Appellate Judge Marcia Ferreira Alvarenga of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Appeal dismissed the interlocutory appeal of the City of Rio de Janeiro and affirmed the injunction of the 6th Rio de Janeiro State Tax Court.
