Gustavo Carvalho, Electronic and Computer Engineer, Patent Specialist, participated in the 47th ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29 Plenary Meeting, held in Daejeon, South Korea. The event brought together experts from approximately 30 countries to discuss and develop technical standards for the encoding of digital images, audio, and video. It covered formats such as JPEG and MPEG, as well as emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality.
