The current advances of IoT in the healthcare area are worthy of a new specific term: Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). However, despite important developments in IoMT, there is a major concern regarding cyberattacks centered on public healthcare. As the possibilities of health monitoring and control through equipment grow, data security becomes a major focal point.
