The Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) published a Public Call on Friday, February 21st, inviting the leading players of the telecommunications segment to participate in an event aimed at sharing information about the potential of the 5G technology.
The call is in line with the agency’s efforts to gather and share knowledge about the subject. The final version of the auctioning notice regarding the fifth generation of mobile technologies is expected to be published in the 2nd semester of this year. A bidding notice proposal is already under public consultation, which will be held until April 2nd.
The “Espaço 5G” event will take place in Brasília, starting on March 25th, with a duration of two weeks. The idea is that providers, suppliers, industry, and academy set up their presentations and practical demonstrations, as well as lectures and workshops.
Those interested in participating in the event should send an e-mail to atc@anatel.gov.br by March 2nd with the following information: company name, full name of the person responsible for the exhibition, summary of the intended presentation, space and electricity needs, e-mail and phone number.
