Roberto Rodrigues Pinho contributed to the article “Who’s Suing Us? Decoding Patent Plaintiffs since 2000 with the Stanford NPE Litigation Dataset”, published by Stanford Technology Law Review (coming spring 2018), one of most distinguished Technology Law Reviews in the world. Alongside other selected Stanford Law School student researchers, the authors have built the very first comprehensive patent litigation dataset to categorize patent asserters for every U.S. patent lawsuit filed since 2000. The Dataset provides an invaluable tool to help policy makers craft effective rules, and help judges, litigators, and scholars better understand the nature of the entities filing patent suits. The article is available here.
